On Friday 6th October, I am hosting a 'Charity Funding Fair' in collaboration with the National Lottery Community Fund from 15:30 – 16:30 at Sudbury Town Hall.
The purpose of the event is to encourage charitable organisations operating in South Suffolk to apply for either the ‘Awards for All’, ‘Reaching Communities’ or 'Partnerships' funding. Currently, the grants available range from £300 to £10,000, with the upper limit due to increase to £20,000 this November. Please see the following link for more information - https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/.
When I met with the National Lottery earlier this year, they informed me that South Suffolk is relatively underfunded via this route compared to other areas of the country. I therefore hope that this informative session will encourage you to take advantage of this invaluable stream of funding.
I will be joined by the East of England National Lottery team who will deliver a short presentation on the funding available, eligibility, and how to apply. The team will also be on hand to answer any questions that you may have. Please note, they will not be able to discuss specific applications at this event.
