Presenting the Prime Minister with the winning Christmas card design.
School children across Suffolk earned plaudits for their creativity in a Member of Parliament’s annual Christmas card competition.
South Suffolk MP James Cartlidge invited primary school pupils to submit their cards, with the winning design presented to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
After hundreds of entries, Boxford Primary School pupil Faye Mason was selected as the winner.
Grace Wells-Currie, from Bures, Isla Day, from Bildeston, and Sophie Artiss Wright, from Cockfield, were chosen as runners-up.
“Sifting through the many wonderful entries in my Christmas card competition is always a highlight of the festive period,” said Mr Cartlidge.
“As ever, it was a tough choice, but Faye is a very worthy winner with her fantastic Christmas reindeer."
“I was proud to announce Faye as the winner in her school assembly last week and present her design to the Prime Minister, who was very impressed by her artwork.”
