Sudbury art gallery and museum Gainsborough’s House has joined forces with marketing firm thebestofsudbury to host its first joint business networking event, held within the grounds of Gainsborough’s House.
Penny Wilby, owner of thebestof Sudbury said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for businesses in the Sudbury and Hadleigh area to network together.
“We can help them meet and chat with our newly elected MP. It’s already looking like there will be a lot of support for this event. All local businesses are welcome.”
Gainsborough’s House will also be launching its new business membership.
A spokesman for the gallery said: “This will be an ideal opportunity to find out more about the benefits offered with this membership and how your business can be involved.”
Mr Cartlidge said: “Networking events are a great opportunity for businesses to gather useful information and contacts.
“Running my business before entering Parliament, there were key events in the housing sector which we would go to and could generally rely on gaining new leads but in particular for the long term, it was also about building relationships.”
Mr Cartlidge added that businesses could work together and support improvements to the area as well as learning from each other.
The event is at Gainsborough’s House from 6.30pm-8.30pm, September 10.
